Paul Edwards Posted June 13, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 13, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi I am new to this part of forum. I don't use Aperture much but have used it in the past but now when I click on an image that I want to make some adjustments on The slide various slide bars show up but they don't work. Is it something simple that I have deactivated ? or is there a problem with the soft ware ? This is really frustrating and I would be really grateful for some advise. Thank you. Do you have the problem with ALL of your images only with some? (1) Could it be that you working with “referenced files”, that is having your masters on an external and not connected volume? In this case you can neither print nor modify the images. (2) More likely: you entered the mode “Quick Preview“ by accidentally typing the letter “P” to pressing the appropriate button. In this mode you can’t modify either. Holger
Paul Edwards Posted June 13, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted June 13, 2009 Hi Thank you for your fast response. in answer to your questions. It does seem to be on all images that I have the problem. `````and I can see the" quick preview" text at the top. The question is how do I deselect the quick preview and go back to "normal mode " If possible ? Thanks
arminw Posted June 13, 2009 Share #4 Posted June 13, 2009 you click on the image that has the Preview activated, and then press the letter P that should get you back into Normal mode . Armin
