Moreover the claims of greenness make no sense whatsoever.

My mouse pads are >10years old & doing fine.

No need to replace: no consumption=>no C-footprint

Think No-padd not Macpadd

They're sold on Amazon.com too.

But check Ripoff Report: By Consumers, For Consumers and Gizmodo DE

Other customers have been scammed.

I checked with Disque dur externe, accessoire iPod, disque dur interne, mémoire : MacWay, my main Net retailer

in France. They sell the mac padd through one of their

supplier. So apparently the scammer is only scamming

individuals.

For me it's a first on the Internet. Bloody rascals.

The only thing I can think of in their possible defence is that if they shipped it by surface mail rather than airmail it could takes weeks to arrive. That's no excuse for not answering emails though.

I recently ordered 1 lens and 1 book from the US by USPS standard international : 4 and 5 days respectively.

Not 19.

My experience has been that items sent by surface mail can takes weeks to arrive. Partly because ships are slow, and partly because it is sent in containers and the container is only sent once it is full.

I've shipped LPs to the far east - at the buyer's request not mine - that took a couple of months to arrive from the UK.

If, and it's a big if, the seller has sent the mat via surface mail - which is much cheaper for him - then it could take weeks to arrive. That's a bad decision by him IMHO, not answering emails is just as bad.

Maximum delay for a shipment was 4 weeks, because our customs broker here is abysmal and

slow-brained.

Shipping in itself was only 4 days from California, but parcel got stuck in their stupid depot for 26 days.

In this case, I would at least have received a notice informing me of that delay.

I received none.

Besides, 3 customers complained of QMS/Mac Padd, one in Canada

(no customs delay involved here) and another one in the US.

The Canadian gentleman even talked to them on the phone and had some

lame excuses, but never received his item (it was last Feb).
