Advertisement Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Hi ayham, Take a look here How can I put my signature on a photo?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wda Posted May 23, 2009 Share #2 Posted May 23, 2009 Although I do not use any of your listed programmes, any will have a Type tool which allows you to add letters or words to a file. You have a choice of fonts and sizes and colours. Once you have typed in what you want, you can alter opacity if you wish and also move the text into a final position. You need to experiment, because there is no absolute right and wrong way to add text. It is a personal preference. I usually work on a copy of my picture, flatten the layers, Save for Web if it is destined for web display, or print as required. Experiment and come back if you have specific further questions. underground Posted May 24, 2009 Share #3 Posted May 24, 2009 Try a plug in called Border effects for aperture You can insert text, but have not tried to scan a signature. Ill look around and try to find something for you.
lesh Posted May 24, 2009 Share #4 Posted May 24, 2009 Perhaps not directly relevant in your situation, but....... In Lightroom, within the print module you can include an overlay of an 'identity plate' of your signature, which can appear on the photo or border in different sizes or opacities. The result can be printed or saved as a jpg. I'd guess that Aperture will have similar abilities albeit using different nomenclature.
thompsonkirk Posted May 30, 2009 Share #5 Posted May 30, 2009 Suggestion: Don't do it, printed signatures are often regarded as tacky. Just make a good archival print and sign it (ink on glossy, pencil on matte). Kirk
