rdubois Posted May 18, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 18, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) My daughter's getting married next year and I'm looking for a photographer. Thought I'd ask here as we're looking to find someone who can offer slightly more than the safe, posed shots often associated with wedding photographs. (No disrespect to those who offer safe, posed shots: nothing wrong with them) Location is 30 miles south of London, date 12th June 2009 Dubois

wda Posted May 18, 2009 Share #3 Posted May 18, 2009 My daughter's getting married next year and I'm looking for a photographer. Thought I'd ask here as we're looking to find someone who can offer slightly more than the safe, posed shots often associated with wedding photographs. (No disrespect to those who offer safe, posed shots: nothing wrong with them) Location is 30 miles south of London, date 12th June 2009 Dubois We have an expert in informal wedding photography here in the UK. Search for 'Brett' or 'bybrett' . He has posted some stunning work in the 'People' section of the forum. It is short notice, but if he is free I am sure he would help you. He also uses Leica kit. See his feature in the current issue of LFI. Hope that helps and good luck! PS Just noticed the conflict in your dates. You say next year yet quote 2009! overtoom Posted May 18, 2009 Share #8 Posted May 18, 2009 hi Dubois London sounds fun! If its 2009 or 2010, I am still available at June the 12th. I do however use a japanese SLR and not a german Leica, but I guess you are looking after good photography and not who made the gear... best regards Richard Richard Overtoom I Hochzeitsreportagen, Hochzeitsfotografie, Hochzeitsbilder l Zürich, Luzern, Bern, Basel - Schweiz info@richardovertoom.com

rdubois Posted May 18, 2009 Author Share #11 Posted May 18, 2009 Wow, amazing response. Keep em coming but allow me a few days to look at your galleries. So if I don't reply soon it's not that I'm necessarily disinterested. So very sorry the date is 12th JUNE 2010, not 2009 Must be the confusion brought on by the emotion. OK perhaps ist's just old age Where does Riccis hang out? I've seen some of his stuff and it's very good! Dubois
egibaud Posted May 18, 2009 Share #12 Posted May 18, 2009 Ricci would be my first choice, the second would be me :-) I am based in the Tenerife, Canary Islands but I travel worlwide. Please contact in private message if interested. By the way, they are many great wedding photographers not just Ricci and me LOL The most important is to decide on the style you want and the budget you have. regards, Eric
