sharookh Posted May 13, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 13, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have just purchased the 24 mm viewfinder here in Singapore. It is outstanding quality and the finish is flawless. It has markings for 24 mm and 35 mm. I wish it had the same for 60 mm as unfortunately it doesn't. However, it has three LCD markings on the top which state "≤0.7 mm". Does anybody know what these are for? By the way (for those interested), the price is equivalent to US$ 270 from Allen Photo. Thanks.

bobmc Posted May 13, 2009 Share #2 Posted May 13, 2009 Hi Sharook Yes the VF is very good. I'd also like to know what that particular marking means! Regards Bob
d2mini Posted May 13, 2009 Share #3 Posted May 13, 2009 I've been eyeing this viewfinder and as well made as it might be, I just dont understand what makes it cost so much, especially when you compare it to the price of a whole camera. The viewfinder doesn't have moving parts, stacks of precision cut glass, complicated sensors, powerful software, etc. It just boggles my mind. I'll probably succumb eventually, probably sooner than later, it's just so confusing to me! And imho, it should come with one in the first place. What's a camera without a viewfinder?
