dennersten Posted May 12, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 12, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I bought one extremly nice M4 some years ago with brassy edges. I bought a MR4 black paint a few weeks later. But when i got it i found to my surprice that under the black paint was steel (or something similar) not the beatiful brass i wanted. After quite a long search i found the MR4 i was looking for, I forgot about the ugly MR4 until last week. When i bought it i kind of thought that this version was made for M4-p and M4-2. But when i tried to match it with my new m4-p it didn't look right either. So? Somebody know when and why it was done?

jc_braconi Posted May 12, 2009 Share #3 Posted May 12, 2009 Sorry... which is the M4 variant named MR-4 ? Luigi, I think he is speaking about a Leicameter, the MR4 is the last one produced. You can see easily the diffrence from the black chrome one and the black (glossy)paint one.
