Haruk,

there's plenty to like about the shot. It's got rich, vibrant colour and a spontaneity which raises it above the norm.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum.

Haruk- With all the patterns and dynamics going on in this picture my first reaction was it might be even better in black & white - so I popped it into iPhoto to see the difference:

It lost strength, became too busy and that was very interesting to me because it is a true COLOR photograph, where everything is helped and clarified by color: the kid's patriotic hat, the faint blue line along the asphalt, the dark blue of the topmost line of dolphins(?) against a medium blue plain sky.

And the composition is very alert. The forward lean of the boy reflects the telephone pole and his centered placement connects with the critical background much better than if he were classically off to one side moving into the frame. And the free-wheeling horizontal light bar accents and 'mothers' the sassy crowd of toys.

Just a wonderful, timeless, color shot!

What a good colour photo - and what I really like is the connection between the boy's forward leaning mirrored by the toys' [ Spider Man and Pink Blob ?] also leaning forward. Well seen , and nice energy.
