Local bowls club

Lawn bowls clubs are institutions in many Australian suburbs, partly for the sport and partly for the social aspect.

This was from the first roll with my new M2 and collapsible summicron so thank you for indulging me. The film was Portra 160VC

The greens are kept in immaculate condition at the cost of a fair amount of water. Not so good in a drought

The Gents looks like a shed to me

I very much like the lovely composition, clarity and geometry of this series, and you must be very happy with you "new" camera. I think you are losing a lot in the scanning process on all of them, making the colors seem faded and veiled.

Stuart. Thanks for your comments. I elected to keep the colours muted and not crank up the saturation slider. I thought a place that has not changed since the 70s should be shown with that faded film look.
