I caught the driver's eye before I took the shot, and waved the camera at him questioningly, he smiled and nodded before going back into 1960s bank-robber mode. When I'd taken it, the passenger gave me a huge smile and a thumbs-up. Of course, they'd likely deny all this, and insist they chased me down the street before beating me up in an alley.
