intex Posted May 3, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 3, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I purchased a Leitz 50mm SCOOBI viewfinder, hoping that it would work in my situation. After a recent trip and 700 pixs, I have found that I am usually shooting at full wide zoom (24mm), so the viewfinder did not help out much. It would be great for those that use the lens in the full zoomed-in mode most of the time. Abny ideas on how to sell this like new viewfinder, in order to purchase a new 24mm one? bill Posted May 4, 2009 Share #4 Posted May 4, 2009 Do you know at what zoom setting that the captured picture matches the viewfinder's FOV? Full zoom at 3:2. It works really well. I just long for a firmware update that gives me full zoom at startup. Regards, Bill
jankap Posted May 4, 2009 Share #5 Posted May 4, 2009 Bill Have you seen the Canon Hackers Development Kit? Develop your own firmware! Perhaps is Linux a good example. Jan
