cardinal Posted November 2, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 2, 2006 Neal, real nice. Can you please post more pics taken with the Dlux-3. I have been thinking about purchasing it but I see more and better pictures taken with the Clux online.
fernando_b Posted November 7, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 7, 2006 Neal, did you wait until the actual shadow direction was the same as one of the painted logo? Fernando.
richard_roma Posted November 8, 2006 Share #4 Posted November 8, 2006 Nice shot. The logo is done in adhesive backed vinyl, rather than paint, which hasn't been used to letter trucks, trains or much anything for that matter, in 20+ years. If you look closely, you can see where the white vinyl did not conform to a rivet on the very left of the logo. You can also see some bubbles under some of the letters. I would guess that the shadow is black vinyl as well, as most of the computer programs used to design and cut all have features that allow the designer to position a 'drop-shadow' strategically around a graphic so as to simulate a shadow.
