The distortion on the 35/70 is maybe 1/4. They are both sharp and same size and weight. Now if you scan and print, you can do some distortion correction with software. If you print with an enlarger, nothing can fix the distortion. I use a regular B+W pola on either. Set the pola at the end where the lens extends, then retract to the focal length to be used.
