azzo Posted October 31, 2006 Share #2 Posted October 31, 2006 John, i've been wanting to say something about this pic of yours but hesitated. Please do not get me wrong. This is a very good B&W image, honestly. I think i had pointed out on an other image of yours somthing similar. The only thing that bother's me is the strong whitish patch of the sun shining through. If i were you, i would try and avoid this by hiding the sun more with the leaves and branches. This is an honest opinion John to what i think is a very good photo. leicamann Posted October 31, 2006 Share #3 Posted October 31, 2006 Ok this would work..but as you see the digital sensor here just gets everything overblown and ruins it..if it was a higher megapix camera or film this would have been a great... when using my digital camera I always make sure the sun is hidden by something so this doesn't happen. Thanks for sharing Regards, Leicamann
jmr Posted October 31, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted October 31, 2006 Azzo, John, thanks for the comments; I had hesitated about posting the shot for the very reason you both state - there's a hole blown in it On balance I decided to put it up anyway, because I rather liked it despite its faults. I do usually try to get the sun behind the leaves and branches as you suggest - it really does help. Thanks again guys.
