jmr Posted October 29, 2006 Share #2 Posted October 29, 2006 Marcus, spectacular! I like the second shot the most - the rich, warm colour is very appealing.

mhanke Posted October 30, 2006 Author Share #9 Posted October 30, 2006 Thank you very much for your kind comments! I am a big fan of medieval architecture, and always wanted to visit Carcassonne. So I was too glad when this year's trip to Spain brought the opportunity to stay in that old town. I have to admit though, that I am not fond of my scans' quality. Somehow, all pictures appear to be unsharp. However, I think that an additional application of any unsharp mask filter would result in apparent oversharpening. Anyway, I will have to experiment a bit more with the scanner settings. With best regards, Marcus
lambroving Posted November 2, 2006 Share #10 Posted November 2, 2006 Marcus, Hope you have better luck with that scanner soon. #1 is very well done, both the light you caught and the framing. You even kept your toes out of the shot! #3 is also well-done, but that first one has some serious potential.
