giordano Posted June 17, 2009 Share #41 Posted June 17, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) pete, you're right - f2.8 was not correct, but there is (at least) one difference on this lens. the front ring (with serial number etc) shows 1:2, but the aperture ring starts at f2.4, then continues 2.8 through 16 normally. Sounds like the lens is f/2, T2.4. Most pro movie lenses have the aperture ring marked with T-numbers. The f/number reflects the physical aperture while the T-number takes the actual transmission of light through the lens into account. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
