Hi all,

maybe you should not forget that (as it says in the Imprint as well) LFI is a magazine which appears 8 times a year.

So issue No 3 is by no means to be the March issue. It’s just No 3 out of 8. It’s so easy.

Cheers

Okay, you are probably right that "3/2009" is to be viewed as the third issue of 2009. With most magazines, the "3/2009" issue comes out in ... the 3rd month of the year!

it does state...

3/2009

March/April 2009

...on the front cover so valid reason to assume that it could be available in March.

[i buy mine from a shop as it's cheaper, per issue, than the annual subscription even with the 2 *free* back issues]

Mine arrived today too.

Rona|d's D-Lux 4 article was very interesting. However, I thought that the flash article was too long, and I can't say that this was one of the best editions I have ever read, to be frank.

I'm sure your call really makes their day, Russell.

Mark, Maybe often is an incorrect description about my calling "frequency". I only call when my isue of LFI is about 3 to 4 weeks late (from date listed on previous issue) this does not happen very often. I wait at least 3 weeks before calling, but I have found out that it is the overseas delivery that delays the arrival of LFI here in the US. I have also noticed that you have replied to 2 of my posts, both replies were rather nasty in nature. I have read several of your posts, and have gained a wealth of knowledge from them (even though I don't fully understand some of the engineering and extremely technical descriptions). This is the only reason that I don't put you on my ignore list. I know that you are extremely intelligent and technically inclined, but this is no excuse for you to be nasty to those who don' t possess your "skill level" in technical matters. Russell P.S. I don't have anyone on my ignore list, You would have been the first (and possibly only) one.

Russell, I'm sure I'm on quite a few people's ignore lists, you don't get to 6000+ posts without treading on someone's toes. I tell it as I see it which sometime ruffles feathers. Your remark about often calling the distributor brought to mind one of my customers (out of hundreds) who accounts for 10% of the calls to my helpline and the day doesn't feel complete until she's called. You know who you are, Chris.

There could always come a time when I'm on everyone's ignore list which would be something of an achievement. I've never been banned from here, but I think I've come close... [he said, showing an uncharacteristic level of self-awareness].
