Thank you Jaap, i did slide that thing back and forth few times but still wouldn't allow me to do anything do i need a card-reader to do the format? If you are trying to go through the USB in the camera it is not surprising it does not work. So the procedure is: Charge the camera battery completely full Make sure the SD card is unlocked Format the card in the camera Put the card in the cardreader of the PC Copy and paste the unzipped file on to the card in the root, that is next to the DCIM and MISC folder. Set the camera to playback and load the card in the camera Switch the camera on, follow the instructions on the LCD and sit back Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
