stunsworth Posted October 28, 2006 Share #4 Posted October 28, 2006 As Andy says I'm still waiting for a few entries. Once I've received those I'll post an album to my website and post a link to it in the forum, then the fun can begin :-)
andybarton Posted October 28, 2006 Share #5 Posted October 28, 2006 Some people have obviuosly got 36 stunners and can't choose which one to submit.
stunsworth Posted October 28, 2006 Share #6 Posted October 28, 2006 I had a 36 stunner once, but that's another story.

earleygallery Posted October 28, 2006 Share #8 Posted October 28, 2006 Steve, Just about to send you mine!
erl Posted October 29, 2006 Share #9 Posted October 29, 2006 Come on guys & gals! Don't let this go stale. Get your entries in and let the voting begin. Then it's time to move on to the next shoot. Maybe an international "One Challenge" where we all shoot where we are at a pre-appointed time and submit as now, but from shots 'at home or wherever'. Just an idea. Cheers, ERl
andybarton Posted October 29, 2006 Share #10 Posted October 29, 2006 Erl... "Been there, thought of that" http://www.leica-camera-user.com/customer-forum/7788-day-life-leica.html Yes, come on guys. It's not as if you have 4,000 shots to choose from
erl Posted October 29, 2006 Share #11 Posted October 29, 2006 Fine Andy. I just 'signed up'. Now you Paris "one'rs", get a shke on. Your worst will do. We might even like it! Cheers, Erl
robert_parker Posted October 29, 2006 Share #12 Posted October 29, 2006 I'll be sure to send mine beginning of this week, as promised. In fairness to others who may need the processing / developing time, the official deadline was 19th November, so some people may be sticking to that
stunsworth Posted October 29, 2006 Share #13 Posted October 29, 2006 Indeed Robert, that's why the reminders have been gentle :-). But obviously once I have all the images I'll be able to post them, even if it's earlier than anticipated.

That is supposed to be the M8 release date. LOL

In fairness to others who may need the processing / developing time, the official deadline was 19th November, so some people may be sticking to that Those DMR files do take ages to come back from Boots, don't they Robert? 6 weeks is far too long, IMHO. How many are you outstanding, Steve?

How many are you outstanding, Steve? I am inclined to agree, but if anyone has a genuine excuse for delay, maybe they should declare. stunsworth Posted October 31, 2006 Share #17 Posted October 31, 2006 I don't have my laptop with me at the moment so I can't give an exact number. But I think we're missing 4, maybe 5. These things always take longer than expected, hence the 6 weeks.
erl Posted October 31, 2006 Share #18 Posted October 31, 2006 If you will forgive my directness - too long and it will die. I don't know how long a piece of string is, but but a roll of film is only 36 frames. In reality, even if not finished, it can be processed in a day. I think some pressure is due or this will be eclipsed by life moving on. Cheers, Erl
robert_parker Posted November 2, 2006 Share #19 Posted November 2, 2006 Probably the real inconvenience of setting out rules, is the risk that someone will actually stick to them.... Anyway my DMR files came back from Boots ( I wondered what I was doing wrong...) so my post is in.....
