Advertisement Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 Hi fotografr, Take a look here Ready To Rock. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wide.angle Posted October 28, 2006 Share #2 Posted October 28, 2006 Brent, showoff! (joking). But you must be a relaxed individual with that view and a rocking chair!
fotografr Posted October 28, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted October 28, 2006 Brent, showoff! (joking). But you must be a relaxed individual with that view and a rocking chair! Thanks much, Scott. If I was a relaxed person, I'd be in one of the chairs instead of shooting them. ;-} Ok, well maybe I spent a bit of time sitting there with a beer in hand. Actually, the cabin is a pretty modest affair. Basically, just a big wooden tent. I even have to cut my own firewood.
martinop Posted October 28, 2006 Share #4 Posted October 28, 2006 Re #1 - nice place to relax and view the beautiful fall colors. Re #2.- Enjoyable. Taken a while back?
fotografr Posted October 28, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted October 28, 2006 Thanks much, Paul. I don't spend enough time there but it's always beautiful no matter what the season. Re: #2 "Enjoyable. Taken a while back?" Yes, in my beard days. And when my hair had much less gray.
Guest rubidium Posted October 28, 2006 Share #6 Posted October 28, 2006 These "modest affairs" offer the greatest return in life, IMHO. Nice capture of an enviable spot. (Also, remember that the true value in firewood is that it "warms ya twice.")

wide.angle Posted October 31, 2006 Share #9 Posted October 31, 2006 Thanks for sharing the cabin view, very cool. I enjoy tent camping, so this would be a step up. Any chance it has a "hot tub", one of those that you build a fire underneath to heat the water??? Cheers.

fotografr Posted November 2, 2006 Author Share #12 Posted November 2, 2006 Come on out, William. It's going to be all the way up to 28° today!! Of course, that's down here in Madison. At the cabin, probably 10° less. We've even added a guest room since the b&w was taken.

lambroving Posted November 2, 2006 Share #15 Posted November 2, 2006 Maybe even July. DO wish you'd keep that weather to yourself. It's headed here for the weekend and I was hoping to get one more run in the Plus 8 this season... Better find my flying jacket...
