cron Posted March 19, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 19, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I own the dlux3 and would like to know if the new clux3 would make technically pictures in same quality (jpg) as the dlux3. Think of the lens and size of the sensor. I intend to change because of smaller size of the clux. Any experiences or technician informed users who could help? Thanks for your time! Advertisement Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Hi cron, Take a look here clux3 vs. dlux3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
earleygallery Posted March 19, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 19, 2009 I am pretty sure that the dlux will produce the better images, as you can shoot in RAW whereas the clux is jpeg only. It depends on what you intend to do with the images though. If you only want to make small prints and post on the web then I doubt you'll notice any difference. I use a clux2 as a 'carry everywhere' camera and it produces acceptable A4 prints.
