Is my film all exposed?

I'm using Leica MP. I finished one roll of film which is T-MAX 400. I opened the camera back, and was about to take the film out, but suddenly found I didn't roll it back. I did it in my room with three fluorescent lamps on. I don't know how many frames were exposed or the whole film was exposed? I'm very upset. Can anyone tell me about how many frames were exposed or effected? Thanks!

I once did this (only once though!) with my R9. You'll be surprised at how many of them are OK.The film on the take-up spool is self-shielding, so with luck, it won't be much more that the extended end plus the first coil or so of the rolled film on the spool. Maybe as little as half a dozen frames.

John is probably right, but the only way to know for sure is to process the film.

The quicker you got the baseplate back on, the less damage was done.

I've done the same thing myself.

I did the same thing around New Year in broad daylight. Most of the roll ended up with light streaks coming through the perforations. All but a couple of photos were ruined in my case, but you won't know for sure until you get the film processed.
