Era-appropriate 50mm lenses: Elmar 2.8/50mm Summicron 2/50mm (standard mount or Dual Range) Summilux 1.4/50mm All in serial number range from 1 913 000 to 2 015 000 (1962 to 1964 production). lars_bergquist Posted February 28, 2009 Share #3 Posted February 28, 2009 If a Summicron, you should choose one with the late (1960's style) focusing ring, with the knurling in the scalloped, sunken parts, and not on the raised ones.
