squanmis Posted October 24, 2006 Share #3 Posted October 24, 2006 A little extreme for decaying cement work. Thanks for sharing. I love pictures of people taking photographs and what we must look like to others. John
squanmis Posted October 24, 2006 Share #4 Posted October 24, 2006 A little extreme for decaying cement work. But I love pictures of photographers taking photos and what we do to capture the right image. Gives us an idea of how we look to the rest of the world. Thanks for sharing. williamwtii Posted October 25, 2006 Share #5 Posted October 25, 2006 I have thousands of photos like the photo being taken. Someone has to maintain and fix all those old buildings. Is he taking "art" photos or is he documenting the landlord's lack of effort to maintain the investment?
wbesz Posted October 25, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted October 25, 2006 I took these shots as a reminder (and the opportunity was there) that most of us manoeuvre to get a better shot. (It would be good to have a whole collection of shots of photographers doing their stuff ) William, yes, the shots were for art. Cheers
rob_x2004 Posted October 25, 2006 Share #7 Posted October 25, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I don't get it. You are raggin' this guy because it is his time of day to face Mecca?
squanmis Posted October 25, 2006 Share #8 Posted October 25, 2006 Rob: Please explain how you determined he was facing East. I can' t tell the location of the sun, since there's no shadow, or are you using the map reading technique the right is East. John

wda Posted October 26, 2006 Share #11 Posted October 26, 2006 William, how can I be sure your subject is a Leica enthusiast. He might have been taken ill and is pleading for help! David
elansprint72 Posted October 26, 2006 Share #12 Posted October 26, 2006 I suspect that the results may feature in "Wildlife" rather than "Architecture". I particularly like the "No pissing" sign in location #1, anyone know where I can purchase one of those signs?
k_g_wolf ✝ Posted November 3, 2006 Share #13 Posted November 3, 2006 This looks very much like Mr. W. H. in Bonn/ Cologne. That seems to have been one of the corners which relived the photographer when he was younger. You ran into a long term LEICA-project where someone checks the environmental influences of mankind.
