andit Posted February 15, 2009 Share #2 Posted February 15, 2009 Hi JT, If I were to take a guess, I would say this is part of the right hand half of a "kidney" from and older BMW - did BMW sports cars not have this grey color in the past ? John Thawley Posted February 15, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted February 15, 2009 Hi JT, If I were to take a guess, I would say this is part of the right hand half of a "kidney" from and older BMW - did BMW sports cars not have this grey color in the past ? Andreas Not a Bimmmer.... and in fairness, the car is not grey. Look closer to the highlights for a little more accuracy of the color. HINT: The car is ONLY available in this color. John Thawley Posted February 16, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted February 16, 2009 A Bugatti? Not a Bugatti... and the Veyron comes in a multitude of two tone colors. Though this car is also two tone.... but only one combination available. JT
John Thawley Posted February 19, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted February 19, 2009 Well.... either we stumped the band or there's just not that much interest. This is the hood "vent" detail on a Maserati MC12. The car is painted a pale pearl champagne color with Maserati's "brand" shade of blue trim. It is the only way the car was sold. USA road racer Posted March 6, 2009 Share #7 Posted March 6, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) OK, John, how about some more photos of this Maserati? Looks fabulous. Great photo I may add! I envy you. You'll be in Sebring and I'll be the Chairman of the Stewards at Phoenix International Raceway for a SCCA Regional charity event. Damn the timing!
