Overgaard Posted October 22, 2006 Share #1 Posted October 22, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Shot a series for WireImage today in London where I was the inhouse photographer for the Church of Scientology when the new church opened at 146 Queen Victoria Street. It was raining down so it's a miracle none of my cameras died. I was standing soaking wet on a ladder and had to dry my cameras after as they fogged. These are only from PanaD2 as the film ones will take some more time to get ready. In the photos it's the Chairman of the Board and leader of Scientology, Mr. David Miscavige who was guest of honor. In the second it's Miss Calcutta 2003 and Elite Model of Paris model, Ms. Sheena Chohan. The third is the actual opening with baloons, ribbboncutting, small pieces of paper, etc. The fourth is the top floor of the building (course room). Anyway, tought day at the office. But amazing what you can do with a PanaD2.

Overgaard Posted October 23, 2006 Author Share #7 Posted October 23, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks for the comments. I had the opportunity to see some of the Nikon shots and I was amazed how dull they looked as to colors. Those were shot in jpg as well and not raw. The D2 is an amazing little camera, except it lacks the tele for some purposes. But the D3 might be the solution to that. the one I tried a week ago was very fast and of course the lens can be changed.
