JLV Posted February 14, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 14, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) There are so many posts about the Digilux 2 that I couldn't resist when I saw one in perfect condition (sensor changed in Solms few weeks ago) in "la maison du Leica" in Paris. So i got it! delivered in its box and looks absolutely like new. Bought 2 cards 2gigas and an extra battery. Now I am waiting for a neck strap from Leicatime in Italy. Some say the weak point is the EVF. One thing wich is great IMO is that you can set the dioptry to your eye and no more glasses needed to shoot! I have also the D Lux 4 with the Leica viewfinder and it is great but I still have to keep my glasses to shoot with or without the LCD. With the Digilux 2, I get 10 years younger! Now I have to figure how to post pictures to share with you and I will be back soon. I must tell all of you that I read every day the posts of the LUF and DP review and I enjoy very much the quality of the discussion, of the members and the amazing average quality of the pics. Friendly regards from a newbie living in Montpellier south of France.
