elansprint72 Posted March 24, 2009 Author Share #66 Posted March 24, 2009 I can't make it on Sunday either Having dinner with the Duke on the Saturday night Mr Tollemache? Tell him his wife is a positive disgrace. I was unfortunate enough to share a railway carriage with this "lady" and her female companion some years ago. jlancasterd Posted March 25, 2009 Share #68 Posted March 25, 2009 I contacted the staff at Boston Lodge this morning and there should be no problem getting into the works on Saturday afternoon. Where will we meet up and when? There's a coffee shop opposite the provisions 'emporium' at Portmeirion which should be open this weekend. Should we congregate there? What time? dorman Posted March 28, 2009 Share #79 Posted March 28, 2009 Hope that you all have a good day. Mike We did thanks. The rain somewhat curtailed our Portmeirion visit although the lunch was good. The Ffestiniog Railway Boston Lodge tour was excellent. It was great to see the wide range of traditional skills being used on the restoration and new build projects. Many thanks to John for organising that for us. Geoff
