Thanks Gerhart and William.

William, I would have liked to try f2.0, but the sun was too bright.

This is from an ISO 100 film that was accidently set at 400. Explanation is:

I had picked up my M7 from Leica at Solms after they borrowed it for a short time to use as a reference for checking the alignment of my 75/2.0 lens,

..and I didn't notice that the compensation wheel was set at -2. Two rolls of film later I fixed it. :o :o

To compensate, this Acros 100 B&W film I developed at 50% longer than normal (13 minutes rather than 8 as recommended).

Very nice.

Two things..its looks better ..off the browser and on my Desktop

Secondly.... seen as a print there would be a finer transition and luminosity in the tones.

Thanks for sharing

Regards, Leicamann

William, yes, yours and several other shots with the 75/2.0 asph lens grabbed my attention some time ago. :)

John, thanks, ..I have noticed that film with grain doesn't compress very well using jpg and small files,

just too much detail to handle with contraints!

Thanks for your comments.

BTW, this was taken in Wetzlar after I had a couple of lenses checked out in nearby Solms that same morning,

and Klaus (and Wolfgang Hagen) were kindly showing me around this historic town, and providing helpful advice.
