Peter Smythe | Photographer of People

A small but choice Leica site for people shots - mostly or all Rs. Peter is a member of the Forum . . .

A important Leica photographer site is http://www.marcriboud.com/marcriboud/accueil.html

Another, also worthy "Leica" site are the commercial pages for The Photographer: Into War Torn Afghanistan with Doctors Without Borders (the Soviet occupation of the 80s, not the US occupation now ongoing), inspired by the late Didier Lefevre, eg -- The Photographer | Doctors Without Borders/Mdecins Sans Frontires (MSF)

The Forum (or LHS) might initiate a spot or some sort for remembering Leica photographers like Didier Lefevre . . .

Illustrious company! Thanks, Mike. I also have some "all Leica" photos up on the LUG gallery:

I've created a special link section on the LeicaWiki http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-wiki.en/index.php/...click

with most of the suggested sites listed above with a few of my favorites:

farines-photo.com/Leica Screw-Mount

http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-wiki.de/index.php/Hauptseite

WestLicht Photographica Auction

Leica Historica e.V. Deutschland

the leicapages

Thanks to Andreas for suggesting this list and keep sending more of the ones we've missed,

Tim

During the last six months, I have made prints from my father's World War II/Italy negatives, scanned them, and posted them on my Flickr pages, linked below. All of them were captured by him with his screw-mount Leica body and 35mm, 50mm, and 73mm Leica lenses. My Flickr pages also have images I've captured with my M6 TTL and R8 bodies and numerous lenses.

For a few days, rangefinderforum (RFF) seems to be dead silent.

Has that forum gone out of business? It was a rather open place, that provided quite some alternative insights.

There is now a message up (as opposed to a dead link) confirming server problems and expressing hope that the site will be back up again soon.

some interesting links out there.

Not exclusively Leica but Reid Reviews is a popular and detailed review site.

Again not exclusively Leica but Steve Huff Photo is an interesting and friendly community style blog.

Leica Historical Society of America - Home has a lot of news and a subscription grants access to every LHSA magazine electronically
