Not Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. If you'r referencing those smoke stacks, they are from a 1900 steam plant that once supplied electric for a urban railway system and now provides steam and electricity for a huge area comprised mainly of university buildings and medical facilities. Go further west...(middle)

Perhaps there is too much building and not enough geography in the photo, a hint should help.

Today this river is over it's banks and five hundred miles from here it is causing historic catastrophic flooding.

Hello Wally,

What about Mississippi?

Best Regards,

Michael

Yes the Mississippi River it is. There is terrible devastating flooding in Missouri and Illinois where the river is breaching levees as I write.

Now that you have the river, can you name the city where this photo was taken? The building?

Hi Michael, Sorry, that would put it only about half way. There doesn't seem to be any interest in this one, perhaps a bad choice. So I'll throw in the towel and ask anyone still awake out there to post another more interesting photo.

The river is the Mississippi, the city Minneapolis, the building the Guthrie theater and the French architect, Jean Nouvel.

Hello Everybody,

Minneapolis is a perfectly reasonable place as far as I can tell.

I think whether a place is an "on the radar" spot at the moment, or not, is not necessarily a good criteria for deciding whether or not something should be used as a subject in any of these photo location games. Part of the fun is to use clues from what is in the photo (Or is not.) to figure out where someplace is.

Best Regards,

Michael
