war Posted November 17, 2015 Share #15649 Posted November 17, 2015 I bought a beautiful ring for my wife from one of those wooden chests, so I'm disqualifying myself. Very nice shot, never thought of shooting it at night.

Jim-St Posted November 18, 2015 Share #15658 Posted November 18, 2015 Only galleries? Isn't this a city that is quite central in Dan Brown's Inferno? I know nothing of Dan Brown's oeuvre, I have to confess... and not only galleries, for sure, there's good stuff in the churches too. The museums I've visited have been less to my liking, though. Spent a wet afternoon in the Bargello: liked the Donatello, and the building, but apart from those, preferred the cultural delights of the nearby Antico Vinaio. But that's just me .... a.j.z Posted November 18, 2015 Share #15659 Posted November 18, 2015 (edited) There is a secret route where it is possible to walk from the Uffizi (btw a very famous museum) to palazzo Pitto via the top floor of Ponte Vecchio. I once had the chance to walk through. And now for something completely different: Welcome, dear visitor!
