Correct and congratulations.

The old wooden town of Aalesund was destroyed by fire early in the last century. Its reconstruction was partly paid for by Kaiser Wilhelm II, which probably accounts for the Germanic influence on the Jungenstil buildings.

Thanks, when you said it wasn't the Baltic it kind of narrowed it down to the west coast of Norway. It did not look like Germany or Denmark to me, the buildings were too plain, even though Germanic in style.
