"Do you know the world ?" -- Competition --

Recommended Posts

Luigi,

I agree about the googling. Normally by the time I can look at the pictures in the evening I'm too late to reply as so many of you have already found the answer. But since this thread disappeared to the second page and nobody was posting any reply I just tried my luck with google. I promise to never do it again.

Tim, in the picture you see a wall made out of gabions (wire mesh cages used a.o. in civil and marine engineering for shore protection) filled with stones and that combined with the fact that it was a museum made me find it.

Anyhow here is the new picture - Where and what is this building.

Regards

Gerd

Ah, I always wondered how these wiremash-walls were called...

Your picture looks like a University Library or Main Lecture hall. But I wouldn't know which one, I only know it's not where I am studying :)

Maybe Tilburg?

Seems like half the Europeans would recognize this one with their eyes closed.

Hopefully the next one does not post a picture of his/her "Royal office" and asks to guess - of course with Google support allowed - his country, street, building and floor he lives ...

I guess this one is Europe :D

Maybe this will be more helpful. The other side of the building.

Thanks, Gerd.

The next photo was taken in a European capital.

What is the name of the building?

PS You are allowed to use Google ;-)
