Dirk Van der Herten Posted March 17, 2009 Share #566 Posted March 17, 2009 Reiner correctly defined the region. It's not Sicily, Jannes. One hint: the location is in some way connected with Julius Caesar.
@bumac Posted March 17, 2009 Share #567 Posted March 17, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Trier?
Dirk Van der Herten Posted March 17, 2009 Share #568 Posted March 17, 2009 Trier? Trier was founded by the emperor August (Augusta Treverorum), so Caesar cannot be connected with Trier.

Dirk Van der Herten Posted March 17, 2009 Share #570 Posted March 17, 2009 Some more information please. In a lot of places where Julius Caesar passed, not many stones kept standing on top of one another, and it was no different with this place. The site is also connected with Vercingetorix, a Gallic chieftain. Now I practically gave away the answer.
