a.j.z Posted May 13, 2010 Share #4328 Posted May 13, 2010 South of Spain is not a bad idea, but still not correct. It is in a location where you maybe not expect it.

vertekijker Posted May 13, 2010 Share #4330 Posted May 13, 2010 Is this part of a military fortification, with remparts and such? ------------------ Frans
adli Posted May 14, 2010 Share #4331 Posted May 14, 2010 It is place where it is hot. It's by the sea, but in an elevated position. It is an old fortified construction, with a more modern constructions on top. There are also glass windows in the upper part, but they seem to be of newer date. Not many clues here. a.j.z Posted May 14, 2010 Share #4332 Posted May 14, 2010 Sicilia? Jan We are moving in the right direction but it is not Sicily. Is this part of a military fortification, with remparts and such?------------------ Frans Yes. It is place where it is hot. It's by the sea, but in an elevated position. It is an old fortified construction, with a more modern constructions on top. There are also glass windows in the upper part, but they seem to be of newer date. Not many clues here. Well, here is a clue: where except for southern Spain (which was a good idea but excluded already) do you have military fortifications with buildings like in my photo? adli Posted May 14, 2010 Share #4333 Posted May 14, 2010 We are moving in the right direction but it is not Sicily. Yes. Well, here is a clue: where except for southern Spain (which was a good idea but excluded already) do you have military fortifications with buildings like in my photo? On every other hilltop on the north side of the mediterranean?
a.j.z Posted May 14, 2010 Share #4334 Posted May 14, 2010 On every other hilltop on the north side of the mediterranean? Not really, if you are looking at European history and after excluding Spain for me there are not so many suspects left. But ok, next clue: the place has to do with religious differences (to put it mildly).

doubice Posted May 14, 2010 Share #4340 Posted May 14, 2010 Thanks, Andreas. I am in the office now, without access to my photos. The weekend is coming up too, and I may be spending it away from computers, mobile telephones and other 21st century distractions..... So - I will be posting something latest on Monday, if not earlier. Best, Jan
