GMB Posted November 26, 2009 Share #2763 Posted November 26, 2009 ROFL, I'd missed that. Taking into account the number of posts in this thread, that's not surprising. Where is this? I hope it's not too easy although the place is well known. Welcome, dear visitor! GMB Posted November 28, 2009 Share #2769 Posted November 28, 2009 Saint Michael, in which town is this?------------- Frans It's the Mont St Michel. The shot was take in church all the way up. I accepted Saint Michael as an American version of the name. Georg
etibeti Posted November 28, 2009 Share #2770 Posted November 28, 2009 It's the Mont St Michel. The shot was take in church all the way up. I accepted Saint Michael as an American version of the name. Georg Was the answer really correct? rob_x2004 obviously thought it was St.Michael in Brussels and not Mont St. Michel! Right name - wrong building! Guest suilvenman Posted November 28, 2009 Share #2771 Posted November 28, 2009 Was the answer really correct? rob_x2004 obviously thought it was St.Michael in Brussels and not Mont St. Michel! Right name - wrong building! Regards Andreas When I read Rob's Brussels reply I thought it was funny and I think that was the intention rather than to be factual, Andreas. Cheers, Ken. GMB Posted November 28, 2009 Share #2772 Posted November 28, 2009 I suggest that Rob says whether he was referring to Brussels or to the Mont Staint Michel. If he was not referring to the Mont Saint Michel, I'll post a new one tomorrow.
rob_x2004 Posted November 28, 2009 Share #2773 Posted November 28, 2009 Sorry for the confusion. I was having a stab in the dark since no one was having a go, and I was referring to the church, thought it might have been one of the lesser alcoves or something. Better post agian. GMB Posted November 29, 2009 Share #2774 Posted November 29, 2009 The confusion was also caused by me. Anyway, here is the new shot. Where was it taken? Name of the building and the city, please. stuny Posted November 29, 2009 Share #2775 Posted November 29, 2009 I would guess that Butzville, Maryland is not what you are looking for.
rob_x2004 Posted November 30, 2009 Share #2776 Posted November 30, 2009 I'm too scared to have a go after last time ... and Googling statue of man holding part of horses anatomy might burn my browser.
Guest suilvenman Posted November 30, 2009 Share #2777 Posted November 30, 2009 Bit of a bummer choice here: the gooseflesh suggests somewhere far up north whereas wearing only a jockstrap would suggest the Mediterranean. Hmm... I'll need to come back to this one. Cheers, Ken.
Guest suilvenman Posted November 30, 2009 Share #2778 Posted November 30, 2009 I'll suggest the statue is Italian Renaissance. Cheers, Ken.
