Gaspésie, Rocher Percé.

Exactly. In old drawings the stand-alone piece on the right was connected and there was a second hole at the base. Over the years the connection decayed and fell into the sea.

(Sorry for the holiday snaps)

Jan, your turn.

Could be Czech Republic... but where

Karlovy Vary?

Aldo,

You are getting very warm but, it is not Karlovy Vary.

A piece of useless trivia and non-relevant information for the Californians among you - Karlovy Vary is the ORIGINAL Carlsbad. :p

Best,

Jan

OK, I've seen a lot of castles in Bohemia and Moravia... but of course not this one. :(

Let's guess: Nový Hrad?

Aldo,

It is not Nový Hrad.

If you saw lots of castles in Bohemia and Moravia, I am certain that you have seen this one. Maybe it was overshadowed by another structure? ;)

Best,

Jan

Bouzov ?

Sorry, not Bouzov. Too far to the east. Go west young man and grow with the country.....

Good luck,

Jan

Hradcany Castle in Prague, north side?

William,

Yes, north side of the Hradčany Castle it is. Now - the name of the tower..... Hint - there is a legend about one of its early 'inhabitants'.....

Good luck,

Jan Dvořák
