Bravo Noriko! I had thought posting a picture from Japan, but I thought it would be too easy...

Yes, it is the old San Marcos hospital in Leon, which is now a wonderful "Parador" hotel.

Your turn again. Cheers

Gérard

Merci beaucoup, Gérard.

I would like to stay in that "Parador" some day. It must be something special to stay there.

I also considered, for this time, to post a picture from Japan, but my pictures would be either too difficult or too easy. So, I decided to stay in Europe.

I would like to have the name of this building.

Cheers!

Noriko

Wow! I can't remember that I answered it before! I just checked it and you are right! It is one of those buildings that I know from history books, but I have not yet been there!

Thank you for your Japanese smile. I will leave on a two-week vacation for Japan on Friday and look forward to taking some good pictures there.

With a big Flemish smile,

Frans

PS I'm looking for something new to post.

Frans,

It is very nice season in Japan now.

You are lucky in double senses in terms of weather as well as of the "flu" situation of your country as no suspected/confirmed infection cases have been detected in Belgium.

FYI., pls. watch this news clip of NHK.

NHK WORLD English

Goede reis!

This one is a bit tricky as there are -- oh, I don't know -- serveral hundred thousand square miles of the Southwest of the US that look like this!

Joshua Tree State Park, California (even though there are none in this shot)?
