Indeed a great topic T00n!

No correct answer so far, except Dirk but he was not specific enough ;)

Frans, you might have been thinking in the right direction but the millenium bridge is more than twice the size, methinks.

Soirry about that earlier post of pic. I thought I had gotten the nod with "Genoa". Perhaps not. At any rate, FWIW, my pic is along the Test River, north of Southampton, England. The Test is allegedly England's best trout river...

This seems to be a wonderful place, andalus. Is this picture vintage (the colors) or is it from today? Nethertheless a wonderful capture, i´d like to be there (but without the crowd).

p.s. As the father of the original german thread ("Kennst Du Deutschland"/"Do you know Germany?") I´m happy to see how good this thing developes. We discussed to enlarge the german thread to pictures from all over the world, but over there the main idea was to bring people new insights into Germany, so I like to see this in the international forum where it belongs.

The Test River shot with the cafe was taken in summer 2003. Such a lovely place, lots of jogging trails along the river, pretty homes. It's a national treasure, that river, and fishing access if strictly controlled. The water is ever so clear and cool, perfect for trout!

Docklands footbridge, London.

Close enough, it's in Cannary Wharf. Here another perspective.

The grounds and structure behind, not the walkway. Confluence should be a clue.

Masjid Jamek is one of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur, built on the first Malay burial ground in the city, and before the national mosque Masjid Negara was opened in 1965, served as Kuala Lumpur's main mosque.

Over to you Frans.
