AZach Posted February 15, 2018 Share #17504 Posted February 15, 2018 There are quite many castles in Japan very similar to this one. Most are reconstructed replicas and thus looking “as new”. I was expatriated in Japan over 30 years ago for many years and remember a particularly nice one with a famous cherry-blossom park. The town was also known for being the last one kept by feodal samurais resisting the reformation imperial rule. Maybe not the same one, but cannot remember the name anyway. Nice picture and brings many nice memories from that wonderful country!
Dirk Van der Herten Posted February 15, 2018 Share #17505 Posted February 15, 2018 There are quite many castles like this indeed. So there is plenty of choice. This particular one is located about 750 km. to the northeast of Himeji.
