Do I smell a famous French wine, Ken?

 

There are so many to choose from, Dirk, but we are in France.

Historically, Michael, a vast amount of wine came and still comes from the West of here but, to be honest, I doubt if that answer helps.

It looks as if the Romans built it (as in the nearby Pont du Gard) but in fact it is an 18th Century construction:

 

Indeed, and a number of websites actually refer to it as Roman. Some might wonder whether its real purpose was to bring water from St Clement or tourists from Nimes :D
