Advertisement Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Hi aarflot, Take a look here "Do you know the world ?" -- Competition --. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Jinxter Posted September 11, 2011 Share #8322 Posted September 11, 2011 Hi guys, you're all right: Adli: it's an island Otto: it's catalonian - but a dialect Aarflot: well, this is the dialect
otto.f Posted September 11, 2011 Share #8323 Posted September 11, 2011 This should be Fornalutx at Mallorca
Jinxter Posted September 11, 2011 Share #8324 Posted September 11, 2011 Fornalutx is correct... Over to you, Otto!
otto.f Posted September 11, 2011 Share #8325 Posted September 11, 2011 If Fornalutx was not too difficult, this one should be easy I would like to hear the name of the little church where this sculpture can be found and where it can only sometimes be photographed in this light (originally a slide made with a Leica, scanned with Nikon scanner) Welcome, dear visitor! gearoido Posted September 11, 2011 Share #8328 Posted September 11, 2011 Over to you Jinxter. That's the trouble with Google - it rather spoils this sort of "competition". I remember reading similar comments in the past. It wouldn't work for me, but I wonder if a separate thread labeled "Do you know the world w/o Google" for the globe trotters amongst us. adli Posted September 11, 2011 Share #8329 Posted September 11, 2011 I am sure this competition would have been more fun before internet
otto.f Posted September 11, 2011 Share #8330 Posted September 11, 2011 aarflot is right! Congrats, your turn
aarflot Posted September 11, 2011 Share #8331 Posted September 11, 2011 Thanks Otto! Beautiful photo, by the way. In my opinion, help by Google (etc.) is partly what makes this competition interesting! I also have no problem admitting that I would never have found this church without help from Mr. G. Over to a new spot - where is this? Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! otto.f Posted September 11, 2011 Share #8332 Posted September 11, 2011 (edited) I wouldn't know how to Google this seagull, just like I couldn't find my own picture with Google. But let me guess that this is not the UK, mainly because of the weather / light Given the direction of the sunlight and the impression of Europe, I'd guess Kroatia or something from former Yugoslavia Edited September 11, 2011 by otto.f
