Michael,

That was a perfect hit! Tioman Island is my wife's and my favourite island.

We have just booked flight tickets going to Singapore the 25th of March next year - on to Tioman Island the 28th. (we stay at Berjaya Beach Resort) - back to Singapore the 20th of April and leaving Singapore for Europe the 23rd of April.

On to you...

We are in South East Asia, but not in Thailand nor the Philippines.

'Pulau' means 'island', in the language spoken in much of the area here. So, that was close, but what island? What 'pulau'. A famous Hollywood film was made here during the 50'.

Which film was that, Olsen?

Stafan, you got it. Do you know where in New Mexico, it is a rather large state after all!!

So I would guess Eastern part of the state, off Old Route 40 perhaps.

Does this qualify as a "hit" or do we need a named locale?

Stefan,

Close enough for govenrment work.

This is northeastern New Mexico along Route 87, a few miles west of the Capulin Volcano National Monument.

This storm stuck with me driving from Denver all the way to Amarillo, spewing ice, snow, rain, and a few non-threatening tornadoes. A great view from a distance!

Over to you!
