Uhm... there is a wonderful light... I'd say sunset, so the snowy peak ought to show its (around) south face ... some Swiss valley maybe ?

The mountain is well know for the pyramidal shape.

Climbing routes are rather difficult.

Guessing a peak in Swiss isn't like guessing one in Denmark... :D... I'm going to sleep and make a quick try : TODI !!! Just a try... :o... let's see tomorrow...

pyramidal shape is mentioned with respect to a lot of mountains in Switzerland, including the Matterhorn (which it is not)

 

It appears not to be a typical perspective but because of the difficult climbing routes I go for Eiger

Nah... I bet is not in the Bernese Oberland/Eiger & C... looks a rather isolated peak (even if the point of taking can confuse)... you say "one of the really big..." : is it a "4000" ?

 

It´s neither Eiger, Jungfrau nor Matterhorn. Matterhorn is closer than Jungfrau.;)

Yes, it´s one of the big 4.000m peaks.
