bgreig Posted January 30, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 30, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) The specs in the Leica manual for the D-Lux 4 say the battery is 3.6v, 1000mAh. However, the Leica battery that came with the camera says 3.7v, 1150mAh (Leica, BP-0C4-U). A battery I got with a third party case says 3.6v, 1150mAh. This leaves me confused. Is it the voltage, or the mAh that matters? Can the battery be either 3.6v or 3.7v? Am I safe using the "For Panasonic, CGA-S005E, DMW BCC12, 3.6v 1150mAh" third party battery (it works in the camera)? Why does Leica call for 3.6v but ship 3.7?
