troyfreund Posted January 28, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just wanted to let you all know that if you happen to pass through Milwaukee, WI any time soon, there is an exhibit of my photos on display at my alma mater--Cardinal Stritch University. Cardinal Stritch University They are on display till April's end. It is about 22-23 images from a body of work I called "Something That Will Last." The images are primarily documentary/street-work of my family, friends and strangers. They are showing in Bonaventure Hall, the upstairs "gallery area." In downstairs of Bonaventure, there are also 6 of my Xpan photos on display. If any of you can see the show, let me know--I'd love to hear what you think! All the images are from my Leica M6TTL and lenses, and the Xpan; all printed in the darkroom on beautiful fiber-based paper. Troy

marke Posted January 29, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 29, 2009 Troy, I live about 2 miles away! I just told my wife about it and we're going to check it out for sure! troyfreund Posted January 30, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted January 30, 2009 Hello Marke, As the show area is actually just a large open hallway, it is open for viewing at any and all normal campus hours. Just park somewhere on the south side of campus and go in the entrance pictured in my post. Upstairs is where the pics are. Also, in the downstairs hallway, in a less-well-lit section, are 6 Xpan prints of mine--you might want to check those out too, as I'm pretty proud of them. Thanks for your interest!
