JGW Posted January 28, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I took a walk along a pathway recently, which I hadn't been down for many years. It's an ancient pathway up in the North of England which used to have many bushes and growths all around the old metal fence. Many of these had been cut away and cleared. I was fascinated to see how this small tree had dealt with the fence in its growth path over the many years, seemingly by absorbing it! The fence now comes out of this small tree's trunk! Whoever was cutting back all this growth must have respected this natural phenomenon and left the bottom half of the trunk in place. Hope the images are not too repetitive. Was just fascinated and didn't know which to choose. Jeffrey.

andit Posted January 28, 2009 Share #2 Posted January 28, 2009 Hi Jeffery, This is quite amazing. I especially like #2. Quick question, have you tried converting this image to b&w and increasing the contrast? This could add quite a feeling to the image. Well spotted. Thanks for sharing Andreas
