petermcwerner Posted January 27, 2009 Share #5 Posted January 27, 2009 Getting my new Digilux 2 and wanted some advice on the best and easiest (oxymoron?) software for my digilux 2?I used Silkypix 2 and was very satisfied. The new version (Silkypix 3) is very badly translated and thus difficult to understad and use. See some examples of Silkypix 2 conversions on LeicaPhoto Forum: Venice in Winter

wda Posted January 27, 2009 Share #7 Posted January 27, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) And another vote for Lightroom. Not only is it a good performer, but it is also a fine library management tool.
chrispatel Posted January 27, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted January 27, 2009 I am assuming that the new version 2.2 is fully supported for the Digilux 2??? Chris
elgenper Posted January 27, 2009 Share #9 Posted January 27, 2009 I am assuming that the new version 2.2 is fully supported for the Digilux 2??? Chris Certainly. And so is Ver. 2.3. Once a certain s/w gets support for the raw files from a camera, it usually remains for a long, long time. I have no problems with my legacy Olympus E10 raw´s; they´re still legible.
