graeme_clarke Posted January 21, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 21, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Over the past few months the image on my DMR LCD screen has become progressively warmer - noticed especially yesterday when photographing a subject with a lot of white, lit by cool mid-day winter light. The screen had a warm magenta/red caste but the picture seen on the computer monitor in lightroom was fine - 5500K from auto white balance with no colour caste. Its not a serious problem because it doesn't affect the pictures taken, but... Does anyone know if the LCD colour balance can be adjusted without it having to go on holiday to Solms? And if so, how? stuny Posted January 21, 2009 Share #2 Posted January 21, 2009 Graeme - I noticed that happening some time ago, before I downloaded firmware 1.3. Might that be the issue?
graeme_clarke Posted January 22, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted January 22, 2009 Dear Stuart, That's great advice so sincere thanks - I was still on v1.2 and not picked up v1.3 was available - I must be blind. Its now installed and seems to have done "what is says on the tin" - as we say here. Best wishes, Graeme
