stig Posted January 15, 2009 Share #1 Â Posted January 15, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has any one come across a box of tricks which can be plugged into a Digilux 3 for some time lapse photography? Thought i'd ask here prior to spending hours if not days on the net. Cheers.

daveleo Posted January 17, 2009 Share #2  Posted January 17, 2009 i have a digilux-2 (not 3) it has a feature called "flip animation".... the camera will store a series of still photos (that you take manually) in a package and wrap that into a stop-motion movie.  i have never done this and i don't know what movie file format it produces.  possibly the D3 has a similar or enhanced version of this feature.  i could not see a way to have the shutter automatically fire at timed intervals.  regards   daveleo
andit Posted January 18, 2009 Share #3 Â Posted January 18, 2009 Hi Stig, Â I know you can use the Remote Capture software with the M8 tethered to a computer via usb port. I'm sure that there must be something similar for the Digilux 3. I had the exact same problem a while ago. After a long search on the internet and here on the forum, the cheapest option for me was to get a Ricoh R8. All Ricoh camera's have an interval timer option that you can set to take an image from 1 second to 2 hours. Â Andreas
