Time Lapse

i have a digilux-2 (not 3)

it has a feature called "flip animation".... the camera will store a series of still photos (that you take manually) in a package and wrap that into a stop-motion movie.

i have never done this and i don't know what movie file format it produces.

possibly the D3 has a similar or enhanced version of this feature.

i could not see a way to have the shutter automatically fire at timed intervals.

regards

Hi Stig,

I know you can use the Remote Capture software with the M8 tethered to a computer via usb port. I'm sure that there must be something similar for the Digilux 3. I had the exact same problem a while ago. After a long search on the internet and here on the forum, the cheapest option for me was to get a Ricoh R8. All Ricoh camera's have an interval timer option that you can set to take an image from 1 second to 2 hours.
